We are situated 10mins south of Caen, Normandy. Ideally placed for visiting the famous Normandy beaches and historical Falaise. Bayeux 30mins. Deauville 30mins. Paris just over 2hrs.
Our three luxury rental properties are situated within the 10ft walled six acre grounds of the main Manoir, each has its' own private two acre garden, sun terrace, bbq and outdoor seating.
Approached through electric gates,up a long tree-lined drive to the main wrought iron gates. The grounds include a fully stocked vegetable garden,(full time gardener brings produce straight to the table),orchard and ornamental fish pond.
Le Manoir has exclusive of a beautiful outdoor luxury hotspa, privately spaced beside the orchard and pond, and kept at 40 degrees for use in cold weather.
Both families and couples have enjoyed holidays here. We provide the quality of a luxury let, and also welcome children.
SPECIAL YOUNGERS AND CHILDRENS ! NEW IN 2007
We have a childrens' "PLAY BARN", fun surroundings for them to relax and give parents some space. Children can mingle and make friends in this communal space. Inside, where are two large TVs and DVD and Play Station 2s, with two dance mats, seating area, board games, boules and toys. Leading out onto the communal croquet lawn and around to the swings and goal posts.
For the littles, special slide and climbing station wait them.
The youngers will be happy between badmington area, ping pong indoor, and goal posts.
For all, six bicycles are disposable.
Our three properties are available separately or for larger parties as a whole, at a discounted rate.
We rent throughout the year and consider long or short lets. We are ideally placed for house-hunters and can offer advice on english speaking agents, surveyors, and ferry services.
If you are looking for a large let, we do consider appropriate tennants for the three properties in total, Le Manoir, Le Petit Manoir and the Luxury Studio. These would sleep a total of 16 adults and 5 children, also extra beds available for extra children, you would have exclusivity of the whole complex.

Le Petit Manoir. Newly renovated, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Beautifully appointed and newly renovated, decorated with french and english antiques.
Each room is spacious with new floors and oil radiators.The sun shines into the kitchen, which opens out from double doors onto the sun terrace. New granite,wood and stainless steel units, stainless steel 4 ring gas hob and oven, microwave and Siemens stainless steel fridgefreezer. Granite table with seating for 5 and easy chair.
New luxury white bathroom with shower over bath and views onto private back garden. Living room with triple aspect views onto back garden,grounds up to main Manoir and glass door onto courtyard, seating for four, flat screen tv and dvd.(free access to our library of 100dvds), and english satellite channels. Stairs up to large double bedroom with new kingsize antique brass bed, two large double aspect windows, flat screen TV and DVD. There is space for a childs' bed and/or cot.
In a separate annex,(two steps from the kitchen door), is a new double-bedded room, with flat screen tv and dvd, and beautiful ensuite bathroom.
In the courtyard there is private under cover parking.You are given an electric clicker for the duration of your stay,to enable you access through the electric gates.
The village of Bretteville-sur-Laize is four minutes away,where there is an excellent variety of shops, including, newsagent, supermarket, bakers, butchers, restaurants, cinema, pizzeria, beautysalon, hairdressers, horse-riding and fishing.
Historical Falaise,birth place of William the Conqueror,is just 15 minutes again with a vast array of shops and lively Saturday market.
Cauvicourt has a small traditional french restaurant that you can walk to from Le Manoir, delicious, inexpensive food and is well used by our guests.
The beautiful and historical city of Caen is only 15 minutes away. The shopping is wonderful, many restaurants and bars and places of historical interest. The Chateau and Memorial to Peace, not to be missed.

Le Petit Manoir and the Luxury Studio are both the same price.
January, February, March 400£ (600€) per week.
April, May, and June 500£ (750€) per week.
July and August 670£ (1,000€) per week.
September 500£ (750€) per week.
October, November, December 400£(600€) per week.
Christmas and New Year are 800£(1,200€) per week.
Easter is 670£ (1,000€) per week.
Prices are fully inclusive of towels & bed linen.
There are no hidden charges.

Christmas week and New Year week 2009 is now fully booked for the Manor and the Little Manor. Only, the Luxury Studio is actually avalaible for this date.
It is possible to rent the main house "Le Manoir" all the year too.
The Luxury Studio
Across the lawn(150m),and fountain from the main Manoir is the spacious Studio property.
Decorated in the same style with french and english antiques, this also is newly renovated.
A kitchen of 550sqft is on the first floor,with wood stripped floors and high vaulted ceilings, this is a truly magnificent room. New stainless steel 4 ring gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and american style fridge freezer.
Spacious seating area within this open plan kitchen, dining seating for four, two three seater settees and easy chairs. TV and DVD, english satellite and dvd library, views onto courtyard, fountain and back garden.
Also on the first floor, is the living room or second bedroom. Usually we find this room suits children better, as the nearest bathroom is on the ground floor, ensuite to the main bedroom. Again,it is 550sqft with wood floors and vaulted ceiling. TV, DVD abd VCR, double bed settee and two comfortable put-u-up beds for children. Suitable for 2 adults or 4 children, with views onto back garden,courtyard and front grounds of main Manoir and fountain.
On the ground floor,through a separate door is the luxurious double bedroom with additional single bed. There is room for a cot also.
This is an L-shaped room with wood floors, antique rugs and views onto courtyard and sunterrace with bbq.
There are tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen TV and DVD and spacious ensuite dressingroom/bathroom. Luxurious white double sunken bath, separate shower cubicle and white french antique double washbasin,leading through to separate toilet.
This property has an independent two acre garden and private parking. Also access to the convenient laundry room and your own clicker to gain access through the electric gates for the duration of your stay.
