Children's Activities.
Of course the beaches are the most obvious answer and there are many to choose from. Most are about 20 mins. from us, and one of our favourites is Cabourg. It has something to please everyone in the family. Huge sandy beach, with small pools for toddlers and surfing waves for teenagers.
There is a Disney Club in high season, right on the beach, where you can leave your little darlings under supervised care for a small charge, and next to it one of the best mini-golfs around, to keep the older ones amused.
The magnificent Grand Hotel over looks the beach, where there is a Casino and indoor pool open to non-residents.
A short walk across the green takes you to the intriguing french shops and wonderful cafes and restaurants, where you can sit outside 'til past dark!
Luc-sur-mer, Arromanches, there are many beaches to explore and many activities including, beach yachts, sailing, horse-riding and good old fashioned sand-castle competitions.
15 minutes from us there has just opened a new "Parc Aquatique", with indoor/outdoor pools, slides and wave tunnels. Also, to keep Mum and Dad happy,fitness room, sauna, jacuzzi and adult only pool!!!
For the boisterious we have the adventure jungle of walk-ways and pulleys through the trees, a great day out.
Our properties have toys and Playstation 2s to keep you amused, and bikes. Children can bike through the countryside here, free from traffic, down to the local village to buy ice-creams.!!
NEW FOR 2007............
we have a new "Play Barn", a great set up for the children. Quite luxurious, with three, yes three wide screen TVs, DVD, Play Station 2s, seating area, board games, boules, craft table, books and many toys.
Badmington area, ping pong indoor, football goal wait youngers.
6 bicycles are disposable.
The Play Barn opens out onto the communal croquet lawn and round from the swings and goal posts.
Adults love the peace it gives them, and children from the three properties can mingle in a communal atmosphere.
We have two local Zoos and the new Aquarium with submarine adventure at Cherbourg,(just over an hour away).
